About the Play: Until We Meet Again is the story of college sweethearts, Harold and Ellen, who reunite in their 60's. With Ellen's life in limbo and Harold's history of tough luck relationships, these two find they still have a thing or two in common. Join them on a heart-warming and sometimes hilarious journey as they look back on the past and find hope for the future.

Characters: Harold (a man in his 60's) and Ellen (a woman in her 60's).
Setting: Single location in an apartment.
Running Time: Act 1 - 45 minutes. Act 2 - 30 minutes.
Premiere: Toured Nova Scotia in 2014.

A Christmas Carol

About the Play: This play begins with an prelude depicting a group of friends who decide to put on the play "A Christmas Carol". But where will they find actors, singers, and the money needed? True to Community Theatre, everything comes together at the last minute. Following this fun interlude is a beautifully crafted version of A Christmas Carol, true to the Dickens' classic. The play is interspersed with traditional Christmas Carols from the time period in which the story is based.

Note: The interlude can be customized for the specific theatre group).

Characters: Twelve non-singing actors, plus a choir of all ages.
Setting: Eight black boxes are used for the entire set and are moved around by the actors.
Running Time: Act 1 - 50 minutes. Act 2 - 40 minutes.
Premiere: South Shore Players' 30th anniversary in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, 2023.

About the Play: Trudi's happy life with Simon is thrown off balance when someone unexpected moves into the neighbourhood. Meanwhile, Doris tries to reconcile her life after two failed marriages. Witness how both women move through unpredictable moments with sorrow, whimsy and hope.

Characters: Written for one actor playing multiple roles.
Setting: A single location with two patio chairs, two side-tables, and a stool.
Running Time: 50-minutes.
Premiere: Toured Nova Scotia in 2019.

The Prince and the Golden Egg

Musical and non-musical options, as well as varying lengths and cast sizes are available.

About the Play: A fantasy adventure for all ages with an entertaining cast of characters and surprising twists.

Characters: 14+ of flexible age/gender, with the option of a chorus.
Setting: The Harbour, The Palace, The Mountain.
Running Time: There are multiple versions of this play, from 45-90 minutes.
Premiere: The one-act version first played in Kentville, Nova Scotia in 2012.

Transcending Boundaries

About the Play: Transcending Boundaries is a dark drama based during the Second World War. Two individuals with opposing loyalties must determine what sacrifices they are willing to make to keep the secrets of their allies.

Characters: Ilsa (woman in her twenties), Brian (man in his thirties), offstage voices.
Setting: A small bare room, with a bench off to the side.
Running Time: 20-minutes.
Premiere: Performed as part of "Locally Yours" in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, 2017.
